Car Bomb Wounds Six in Central Baghdad
Baghdad, Iraq -- Task Force Baghdad Soldiers responded to a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonation about 8:50 a.m. on Jan. 18.
Initial reports from the scene indicate that at least six Iraqis were wounded by the blast, including two Iraqi police. The bomber died in the blast.
A Task Force Baghdad explosive ordnance team was dispatched to the site to conduct a blast analysis.
The incident is under investigation.
