2nd MOI Battalion Soldier Injured Near Samarra
Tikrit, Iraq - One Soldier from the 2nd Iraqi Ministry of the Interior Commando Battalion was injured when his patrol vehicle struck a land mine near Samarra at 8:48 p.m., January 16. The Soldier was evacuated to Multi-National Forces medical facilities and is in stable condition. One vehicle, damaged in the attack, was recovered.
