Cache Discovered in Joint Operations Around Baqubah
Tikrit, Iraq - 1st Infantry Division Soldiers discovered a significant weapons cache during operations conducted around Baqubah on January 13. The Soldiers found 282 40mm anti-aircraft rounds, 22 cases of 21mm AP rounds 9each (40 rounds per case), 67 AK-47s, 24 82mm mortar rounds. These were joint intelligence driven operations conducted with Iraqi security forces.
