U.S. Marines detain 10 suspected Insurgents, Seize Weapons Caches

- Marines from the 1st Marine Division of the I Marine Expeditionary Force detained 10 suspected insurgents and seized several weapons caches during operations throughout Al Anbar Province over the past 48 hours.

The seizure and subsequent destruction of the weapons caches reduces anti-Iraqi forces' ability to launch attacks against Iraqi and Multi-National Forces and Iraqi civilians.

The 1st Marine Division of the I Marine Expeditionary Force is committed to assisting Iraqi Security Forces in enhancing a secure environment for the citizens of Al Anbar Province in advance of the upcoming Iraqi elections.
