
Israel Aircraft Industries' Bedek Aviation Group Awarded Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Contract for the Israel Air Force's A-4 Skyhawk Trainer

Contract is estimated at $150 million over ten years
Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI) Bedek Aviation Group has been awarded a ten-year Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) contract by the Israel Ministry of Defense for the Israel Air Force (IAF) A-4 Skyhawk trainer program. The contract, estimated at $150 million, includes overhaul of the aircrafts' fuselage, engines and components.
Mr. David Arzi, IAI's Corporate VP and General Manager of Bedek Aviation Group, commented: "We are honored to have been chosen by the IAF to service the Skyhawk trainer. This mutually beneficial award will further strengthen IAI Bedek's relationship with the IAF and provide opportunities in Israel and abroad."
Maintenance will take place at an IAF air base on a Power By the Hour (PBH) basis. The IAF and IAI will set indices to measure availability, speed of service and overall performance under the contract.
