ING Detain Two for Threats Against Soldiers

Tikrit, Iraq - Iraqi National Guard soldiers from the 201st ING Battalion, in a joint raid with 1st Infantry Division Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 112th Armor Regiment, detained two individuals near Tikrit on Dec. 31 at about 12:04 a.m. The individuals were suspected of threatening ING soldiers. The Soldiers confiscated two AK-47 assault rifles and one pistol. The individuals were transported to an ING base for questioning.
