The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Marine who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Pfc. Ryan J. Cantafio, 22, of Beaver Dam, Wisc., died Nov. 25, as result of enemy action in Al Andar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to the Marine Corps Reserve's 2nd Battalion, 24th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, headquartered in Chicago, Ill.
