IMMEDIATE RELEASE | November 27, 2004 |
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Marine who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Sgt. Benjamin C. Edinger, 24, of Green Bay, Wisc., died Nov. 23, at the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, Md., from injuries received as result of enemy action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq on Nov 14. He was assigned to 2nd Force Reconnaissance Company, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.
