The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Marine who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Cpl. Kevin J. Dempsey, 23, of Monroe, Conn., died Nov. 13 due to enemy action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. Dempsey was assigned to 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.
