The Department of Defense announced today the death of two Marines who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Cpl. Nathaniel T. Hammond, 24, of Tulsa, Okla.
Lance Cpl. Shane K. O'Donnell, 24, of DeForest, Wisc.
Both Marines died Nov. 8 as a result of enemy action in Babil Province, Iraq. They were assigned to the Marine Corps Reserve's 2nd Battalion, 24th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Chicago, Ill.
