IMMEDIATE RELEASE November 8, 2004

DoD Identifies Army Casualty

            The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

 

            Spc. Brian K. Baker, 27, of West Seneca, N.Y., died November 7 in Baghdad, Iraq, when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated near his security patrol.  Baker was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), Fort Drum, New York.
