CACI Awarded $15.7 Million Contract to Support U.S. Navy Command and Control System

Recompete Award Increases Size and Scope of CACI Role

Arlington, VA, November 9, 2004 — CACI International Inc (NYSE:CAI) announced today that it has been awarded a $15.7 million prime contract by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SSC) San Diego, California, to support the U.S. Navy's Command and Control Processor/Common Data Link Management System (C2P/CDLMS). The award amount covers the three-year base period of the contract; there is also a two-year option period that, if exercised, increases the potential value to $27 million. CACI will perform the work principally at its offices in San Diego, with additional support provided at various Navy facilities. With the award, CACI significantly increases the size and scope of its role in Navy command and control support and expands its systems engineering business, part of its core engineering and logistics line of work.

The goal of the C2P/CDLMS is to collect, manage, and transmit information that is essential to Navy and Joint Forces tactical operations. The programs CACI currently supports enable shipboard, aircraft, and shore-based users to send and receive critical data such as reports on the position of both friendly and hostile forces, engagements, and battlefield activities, as well as orders to act upon such situations. Moreover, with this new award, CACI expands its support to next-generation programs that provide enhanced information superiority.

CACI's role includes independently testing and verifying proposed tactical systems, systems design and engineering products, and software development and development tools. The company also provides engineering services to help develop modeling and simulation tools and update software test plans and related documentation. When requested, CACI will also help prototype and evaluate new approaches and concepts.

CACI has supported C2P/CDLMS programs for nearly 20 years, assuring SSC San Diego of continued high-quality service. The company's solutions for independent verification and validation help reduce project risk by providing early and unbiased detection of design weaknesses and requirements omissions, assuring projects are completed correctly and on time.

Dr. J.P. (Jack) London, CACI Chairman, President, and CEO, said, "CACI's ongoing partnership with the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, demonstrates how we have continually evolved our solutions for the U.S. Navy's command and control requirements. The award illustrates CACI's commitment to supporting our warfighters around the world, as well as our success in achieving our strategic goal of winning all of our major recompete contracts by delivering dedicated, high-quality client support."
