One 1st Infantry Division Soldier Dies Following Vehicle Accident
Tikrit, Iraq -One 1st Infantry Division Soldier died from injuries he received in a vehicle accident near As Sadiyah on November 28 at about 2:10 p.m. The Soldier was riding in a 5-ton truck when it rolled into a canal. The Soldier was evacuated to a MNF medical facility, where he was pronounced dead. The Soldier's name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The accident is under investigation.
