Soldier dies after IED explodes
LSA ANACONDA, BALAD, Iraq - A 13th COSCOM Soldier is dead and one is injured after an Improvised Explosive Device blew up on their convoy near Q West at about 10 a.m. Nov. 16. An earlier release incorrectly identified the cause of this incident as an indirect fire attack.
The injured Soldier was evacuated to a military medical facility.
The name of the dead Soldier is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
