FIRST ID SOLDIER DIES FROM WOUNDS AFTER IED ATTACK
TIKRIT, Iraq - One 1st Infantry Division Soldier died from wounds sustained when his patrol was attacked with an improvised explosive device near Alazu at about 10 p.m., Nov. 29.
The Soldier was evacuated to a Multi-National Force medical facility for treatment, where he later died of wounds.
The Soldier's name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
