ATTACK KILLS ONE, WOUNDS NINE OTHERS

BAGHDAD, Iraq -- Insurgents attacked a Task Force Baghdad patrol in central Baghdad at about 7 a.m., Nov. 20, killing one Soldier and wounding nine others.

The unit came under coordinated attack, which included improvised explosive devices, small-arms fire and rocket-propelled grenades.

The wounded were evacuated to a military medical treatment facility.

The name of the Soldier killed is being withheld pending the notification of next of kin. The incident is under investigation.
