INDIRECT FIRE ATTACK KILLS ONE

LSA ANACONDA, BALAD, Iraq - A 13th COSCOM soldier is dead and one is injured as the result of an indirect fire attack on their convoy near Q West at approximately 10 a.m. Nov. 16. The injured soldier was evacuated to a military medical facility.

The name of the dead soldier is being withheld pending next of kin notification.

The attack is under investigation.
