ONE SOLDIER KILLED, ONE WOUNDED IN IED ATTACK

TIKRIT, Iraq -- One 1st Infantry Division Soldier died and one was wounded when their vehicle was struck with an improvised explosive device near Balad at about 10:38 p.m. on Nov. 4.

The wounded Soldier was evacuated to Multi-National Forces treatment facility. The names of the Soldiers are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
