Car Bombs Explode In Baghdad
Baghdad, Iraq-Two vehicle borne improvised explosive devices detonated in downtown Baghdad this morning. The first VBIED detonated near a Task Force checkpoint outside the International Zone at approximately 8:45 a.m. The second car bomb exploded one hour later at 9:45 a.m. near the Baghdad Hotel.
There were no injuries to Multi-National Force Soldiers and no damage to equipment in either of the attacks. The incidents are under investigation.
