Car bomb kills one Iraqi Armed Forces Soldier, wounds three 1st ID Soldiers, three IAF
Tikrit, Iraq -- One Iraqi Armed Forces soldier was killed and three 1st Infantry Division and three IAF Soldiers were wounded when anti-Iraqi forces attacked their patrol with a vehicle borne improvised explosive device near Samarra on Sept. 19 at about 3 p.m.
The patrol approached a four-door sedan, when it exploded. The Soldiers were evacuated to a Multi-National Forces medical facility for treatment. The incident is under investigation.
