IED Explodes in Central Baghdad, Wounds Three Iraqi Civilians
Baghdad, Iraq -- An improvised explosive device detonated at about 10 a.m. Sept. 18 in central Baghdad.
A Task Force Baghdad patrol in the area heard the explosion and proceeded to the blast area to investigate and render assistance. Initial reports from the site indicate that three Iraqi civilians were wounded in the blast.
There were no injuries to Task Force Baghdad Soldiers, or damage to military equipment. The incident is under investigation.
