            The Department of Defense announced today the death of two Marines who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

            Pfc. Fernando B. Hannon, 19, of Wildomar, Calif.

            Pfc. Geoffrey Perez, 24, of Los Angeles, Calif.

            Both Marines died Aug. 15 from injuries received from enemy action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq.  They were assigned to 3^rd Battalion, 1^st Marine Regiment, 1^st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif.
