Officials from several countries say they are doing everything possible to secure the safe release of seven truck drivers kidnapped in Iraq.

Militants said in a video Wednesday that they had abducted three Kenyans, three Indians and an Egyptian. The group threatened to kill one man every 72 hours if their Kuwaiti employer does not stop doing business in Iraq.

The militants also demanded that India, Kenya and Egypt withdraw their citizens from Iraq.

Meanwhile, police say the decapitated body of a man was found in the Tigris river Thursday in northern Iraq.

Earlier this month, another headless body was found in the same area. Bulgarian officials are investigating whether it belonged to one of two Bulgarians kidnapped near Mosul.

In a separate development, U.S. military officials say American forces killed 25 insurgents, wounded 17 and captured 25 in heavy fighting in Ramadi Wednesday.
