SOLDIERS KILLED, WOUNDED IN CONVOY ATTACK
AL AMARAH, Iraq - Two U.S. Soldiers were killed and six were wounded when their convoy was attacked by rocket-propelled grenades and small arms south of Al Amarah around 7 p.m. May 1.
The wounded were transported to nearby military medical facilities.
This release confirms information reported May 2.
