            The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

            Pfc. Clayton W. Henson, 20, of Stanton, Texas, died April 17, in Dwaniyan, Iraq, when his convoy was ambushed.  Pfc. Henson was assigned to the Army's 1^st Squadron, 2^nd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Polk, La.

            The incident is under investigation.
