DoD Identifies Army Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Sgt. David M. McKeever, 25, of Buffalo, N.Y., died April 5 in Baghdad, Iraq, when individuals using a rocket-propelled-grenade ambushed his unit. Sgt. McKeever was assigned to the Army's 1st Brigade, 1st Armored Division, Giessen, Germany.
The incident is under investigation.
