Task Force Danger Soldier Killed by Explosive Device
TIKRIT, Iraq - One 1st Infantry Division Soldier was killed during an improvised explosive device attack on a U.S. convoy near Samarra around 10 a.m. April 23.
The name of the Soldier is being withheld pending next-of-kin notification.
The incident is under investigation.
