Task Force Danger Soldier Killed, Five Wounded
TIKRIT, Iraq -
One Task Force Danger Soldier was killed and five wounded in two
improvised explosive device attacks near Samarra at around noon April
14.
The first IED killed one Soldier and wounded two others. Nearby, a
second convoy was attacked by another IED wounding three Soldiers.
The wounded Soldiers were transported to LSA Anaconda and were listed
in stable condition.
The name of the Soldier killed is being withheld pending next of kin
notification.
The incidents are under investigation.
