1st Infantry Division Soldier Killed
TIKRIT, Iraq -
One First Infantry Division Soldier was killed and one was wounded
when 15 anti-Coalition insurgents attacked a reconnaissance patrol
near Khalis at about 3 a.m. April 10
The wounded soldier was evacuated to a Coalition medical facility near
Baqubah and was reported in stable condition.
The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of
next of kin.
