Iraqi Police Capture Another 'Top 55' Former Regime Member>
American Forces Press ServiceWASHINGTON, Feb. 15, 2004 - Iraqi police captured another of the 55 most wanted members of Iraq's former regime today in Baghdad.
The police force's emergency response unit arrested Muhammad Zimam abd al- Razzaq al-Sadun, No. 41 on the Iraqi "Top 55" most wanted list, at about 2 p.m. local time (6 a.m. EST) in a home in Baghdad's Saydea district. He was hiding in an upstairs room, a Combined Joint Task Force 7 news release reported.
The arrest followed an Iraqi police investigation and a series of coordinated raids. A former Baath Party regional chairman, al-Sadun was turned over to coalition officials and is being held at an undisclosed location, the news release said.
