Thales welcomes the decision on the future aircraft carrier

Thales welcomes the decision announced today by the French President concerning the choice of a conventional mode of propulsion for the future aircraft carrier.
This is an important step to which Thales in France has contributed significantly.
Thales also welcomes the prospect for Franco-British industrial cooperation enabled by this decision.
It is also for Thales, recognition of its excellent position in prime contract management and naval systems which will allow Thales to play a major role, especially as industrial cooperation with the United Kingdom is envisaged.
