East China Sea Fleet makes breakthrough in new fighter training

On January 31, in the airspace above the East China Sea, a number of new fighters pierced the clouds and mist and successfully broke through the "enemy's" defense line by way of hedge-hopping flight and attacked the fleet of the enemy by firing air to ship missiles. Immediately the target was on fire. This was one scene happened in a simulating attacking exercise conducted by a aviation regiment of the PLA Navy East China Sea Fleet.

Since equipped with a new-type of domestic fighter, the regiment has been sticking to the principle of carrying out training in light of the actual combat and has constantly increased the percentage of tactics drilling aiming at lifting the comprehensive combat effectiveness. In light of the future rivals, the regiment made energetic efforts to bring in new ideas in battle method, and developed a number of scenarios of aerial dog fight and air-to-ground attacking tactics and repeatedly carry out simulating air fight trainings with actual operation background so as to ensure the pilots the capability of a perfect command of technological tactics and psychological quality.At the same time, the regiment has made and perfected various safety measures and scenarios of dealing with urgent situations so as to ensure the smoothly execution of armament training and continuously improved the overall operation capability of the regiment.
