RELATIVES OF AL-DURI CAPTURED

TIKRIT, Iraq - An Iraqi citizen provided information that brought 720th Military Police Battalion soldiers to a location in Samara in the early morning of Jan. 14.

The information proved correct, and soldiers captured three nephews of Izzit Ibrahim Al-Duri (Black List # 6) without incident. Another nephew was captured nearby based on information gathered from the initial capture location.

The four men are suspected of providing hiding places and transportation for their uncle, Izzit Ibrahim Al-Duri, who is believed to be a key leader in coordinating attacks against Coalition forces and innocent Iraqi citizens.

Currently there is a $10 million reward posted for his capture.
Al-Duri was not anywhere in the area at the time of the captures. The four men remain detained for further questioning.
