PLA Daily 2004-01-12

BELGRADE, Jan. 11 (Xinhuanet) -- The NATO-led multinational stabilization forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina (SFOR) continued search for war crimes suspects on Sunday in the Bosnian town of Pale, about 16 kilometers east of Sarajevo.

SFOR soldiers searched the house of Radovan Karadzic, the former Bosnian Serb leader, said the Tanjug news agency.

The soldiers also searched a Serb Orthodox Church, a cultural center and an emergency aid center in Pale.

A SFOR spokesman said the suspect indicted for war crimes may need an operation due to injuries.

The soldiers began searching early Saturday following a tip-offthat a war crimes suspect was there.

Karadzic has remained at large despite many SFOR searches for him.
