Iraq TV: cargo train en-route Mosayyeb-Helleh exploded by armed insurgents

Ilam, Dec 30, IRNA -- Iraq TV announced on Monday night that unidentified armed insurgents first seized a cargo train en-route Mosayyeb-Helleh in Iraq`s Babel Province and then exploded one of its compartments. Broadcasting a news film showing the destroyed train compartment, the Iraq TV reporter said, "local police forces got engaged in an armed clash with the unidentified armed insurgents in the seized train, that took two hours, in which they managed to save the other compartments of the train." According to the report, the cargo train was carrying computers, wood, food stuff, and stationary, a part of which were destroyed in the explosion and during the exchange of fire with the insurgents. Iraq TV did not mention what happened to the unidentified armed insurgents, or to the number of possible casualties during the two-hour exchange of fire between them and the local police forces.
