
Lockheed Martin Warfare Systems Team to Offer U.S. Navy Engineering Support Services
MARLTON, NJ, December 23rd, 2003 -- Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) is leading the Warfare Systems Team, which includes Anteon, Gryphon Technologies, JJMA, Titan and ESN. This uniquely qualified, experienced team will provide the U.S. Navy with advanced warfare systems engineering and support to promote the Navy's vision of deploying credible combat power anywhere in the world.
The U.S. Navy procurement for the Aircraft Carrier Warfare Systems Support Contract is a one-year contract with four one-year options. The scope of work on the contract is to provide engineering and technical support for the integration of aircraft carrier warfare systems. Included in the contract is the ability to also perform this work on other platforms, including destroyers, cruisers, and frigates, as required.

The Warfare Systems Team comprises the leaders in the field of warfare systems engineering and technical support. Lockheed Martin will provide C4I, program management, engineering and technical support services. Anteon and JJMA bring topside design; Gryphon Technologies offers navigation systems support; ESN supports external communications requirements and Titan provides C4I capabilities. The Warfare Systems Team will continue to provide the superior support the Navy expects for its aircraft carrier warfare systems.
The contract will be executed out of Dahlgren, VA, where Lockheed Martin already has a substantial engineering and technical support team in place supporting Naval Surface Warfare - Dahlgren, the end customer for this contract.
