Pakistan, India to observe ceasefire on Tuesday midnight - agency

Islamabad, Nov 25, IRNA -- Pakistan and India will observe ceasefire along the working boundary, Line of Control and the Line of Actual Contact in Siachin Sector from the midnight November 25-26, official media reported here. During a hotline contact between the Director General Military Operations (DGMOs) of Pakistan and India, both the countries worked out the modalities of enforcing ceasefire and decided that the step will be effective from midnight on Tuesday, state-owned APP news agency reported. Pakistan`s Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali on Sunday unilaterally offered to observe comprehensive ceasefire that includes LoC, Working Boundary and Siachin. In the past New Delhi had been rejecting Pakistani ceasefire offers, but this time Indian leadership has responded positively. TSH/AH/210 End
