CACI Awarded Subcontract to Provide Support for Defense Payroll and Personnel System

Arlington, VA, November 11, 2003 — CACI International Inc (NYSE:CAI) announced that it has been selected as a key subcontractor by Northrop Grumman Information Technology (IT), Herndon, Va., which has been awarded a $281 million contract for the Defense Integrated Military Human Resources System (DIMHRS) for Personnel and Pay Program. The subcontract to CACI extends the company's Department of Defense base of work and increases the size and scope of CACI's core systems integration line of business.

Supporting over three million military personnel worldwide from all branches of service, DIMHRS is one of the largest, most complex enterprise resource planning (ERP) initiatives ever launched by the Department of Defense. The system allows service members to manage their pay and personnel information through one common, remotely-accessible database.

CACI will convert data and move applications from various legacy systems into the new DIMHRS environment. CACI's extensive experience with military manpower and personnel systems will significantly facilitate program implementation and ensure the consistency and accuracy of service members' personal information. The company developed and documented business process reengineering for the U.S. Navy's manpower and personnel systems using its SIMPROCESS® analytical simulation software and its RENovateSM reengineering methodology. These tools will be used in the roll-out of the new system.

Northrop Grumman IT's DIMHRS Program Manager, Doug McVicar, explained that, "It's important to work with a company that has extensive knowledge and experience supporting the Navy's manpower and personnel systems and functions."

Ken Johnson, CACI President of U.S. Operations said, "We are more than pleased to team with Northrop Grumman IT to continue development of the Defense Integrated Military Human Resource System. Our long-time experience on this particular project will help improve the delivery of services for the men and women of America's Armed Forces and enhance troop readiness."

According to Dr. J.P. (Jack) London, CACI Chairman, President, and CEO, "It is of absolute importance to CACI that we help empower the members of America's military branches and give them every possible opportunity to carry out their vital mission. This contract increases our experience in enterprise resource planning and reaffirms our solid relationship with and support for the Department of Defense."
