Pakistan says Indian cruise missile Russian-made
IRNA
Islamabad, Oct 30, IRNA - The supersonic cruise anti-ship missile tested in Indian state of Oressa on Wednesday was solely developed by Russia and not by India, Pakistan`s Minister for Information and Broadcasting Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said. "The missile was made in Russia while it was only colored in India, as the Indians have no such technology with them", the official APP news agency reported quoting the minister as saying. India successfully tested supersonic cruise missile, `Brahmos` for fourth time from the Integrated Test Range at Chandipur on Wednesday. "India cannot deter us by testing of such imported missile technology - our technology is far ahead in the field and we firmly believe in its strength, might and accuracy," he added. Defense sources said the test-flight had primary objective of establishing precision guidance capability in surface to surface version. /TSH/213 End
