CACI Awarded $60 Million in Contracts to Provide Marketing and Call Center Support for Military Health System

Company to Centralize Communications for Defense Department's TRICARE Program

Arlington, VA, October 28, 2003 — CACI International Inc (NYSE:CAI) announced that it has been awarded two prime contracts by the Department of Defense (DoD) to support TRICARE, the military's healthcare program. One contract calls for CACI to provide management planning and resources to help centralize TRICARE's marketing and education capabilities, while the second calls for CACI to support TRICARE's customer call center. With a total estimated value of $60 million, both contracts have a duration of one base year and four option years. The awards increase CACI's DoD client base and support the company's growing business in DoD healthcare services.

TRICARE, the largest military healthcare program in the world, provides medical and health benefits to more than 8.7 million uniformed servicemen and women, retirees, and their beneficiaries. CACI will be responsible for helping TRICARE centralize and streamline national and international communications, including the development of marketing brochures, news releases, newsletters, websites, exhibitions, and other public relations activities. In addition, CACI will provide high-quality Internet and help desk support, fielding initial beneficiary inquiries from uniformed service members, retirees, and family members.

CACI has extensive experience on similar projects, ensuring TRICARE of a rapid and effective start-up for its centralized communications effort as well as uninterrupted call center support. The company currently provides marketing communications services and call center support for the Department of Veterans Affairs' Healthcare Benefits Information Center, and has conducted similar campaigns for the Army and Air National Guard, the Air Force Reserve, and the national intelligence community. Moreover, CACI has direct experience providing TRICARE program information for the Army Medical Command.

"Over the past 14 years, CACI has communicated healthcare benefits information to millions of veterans and their families," said Ken Johnson, CACI President of U.S. Operations. "We understand TRICARE's target audiences, government healthcare systems, and the marketing and education process. We look forward to helping TRICARE meet its goals with our dedicated team of experts and the in-house resources necessary to assure fast and effective results."

According to Dr. J.P. (Jack) London, CACI Chairman, President, and CEO, "Like all government agencies, federal healthcare providers are being challenged to streamline and improve their services. CACI is proud to help the Defense Department's TRICARE health services meet its transformation needs with comprehensive communications and customer call center support.
