Afghan militia shell Pak border: daily

Islamabad, Oct 15, IRNA -- Afghanistan`s militia fired mortar shells and rockets at a border checkpoint in Pakistan`s Mohmand Agency bordering Afghanistan, local media reported Wednesday. According to the Islamabad-based daily Dawn, the Afghan militia opened fire at the Speena Bara checkpoint without any provocation. The shelling continued for an hour. The Monday firing was the third incident of unprovocative shelling during the last one week, the daily added, the Pakistani law enforcement forces did not retaliate.
