Germany donates 200 million dollars to Israel to buy arms
IRNA
Berlin, Oct 14, IRNA -- Germany has donated 200 million dollars to the criminal Israeli regime to buy sophisticated arms, while Berlin has also allowed the Jewish state to keep the German Patriot missile systems which were loaned to Tel Aviv before the Iraq war, the website Nahost Focus reported Tuesday. "One of the reasons for Germany`s generosity is Berlin`s desire to promote the security industries in Germany, while Israel has been thinking over the past few weeks what to acquire with the (German) money," the online site said. "Among other things, it (Israel) is considering the purchase of German-made armored vehicles dubbed `Dingo`," it added. Although the German government is banned by law to export arms to crises regions, Germany has become one of Israel`s major arms suppliers, with exports having totaled some 900 million dollars between 1998 and 2001.
