Lockheed Martin Awarded $11.5 Million Task Order to Support West Coast Tactical Training Range
Marlton, NJ, October 10th, 2003 -- The U.S. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division has awarded Lockheed Martin (NYSE:LMT) an $11.5 million task order to provide operations and maintenance support to the West Coast Tactical Training Range (WCTTR).
The base award is an $11.5 million six-month task order with one six-month option also valued at $11.5 million.
WCTTR locations include: Naval Air Station (NAS), Fallon, NV; NAS Lemoore, CA; Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Yuma, AZ; MCAS Miramar, CA; Naval Air Facility, El Centro, CA, and their associated range areas. Lockheed Martin will provide operation and maintenance and system support for the Tactical Aircrew Combat Training System (TACTS) and other tactical information display systems; Integrated Air Defense Systems communications & instrumentation systems; bombing ranges, target areas, and targets; and related equipment and support systems. In addition, Lockheed Martin will provide engineering & technical support, computer information services, program management and administration, quality assurance, security, property management, and other support functions.
Lockheed Martin has been providing these services at Yuma MCAS and Fallon NAS since 1984.

Small business partner companies on this task order include Defense Group Inc. and Delphi Research Inc. The task was awarded under the CECOM Rapid Response IDIQ vehicle.
