General Dynamics Bath Iron Works Awarded $40 Million Navy Contract
BATH, Maine – The U.S. Navy has awarded Bath Iron Works, a subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), a $40 million modification to a previously awarded contract for DDG 51 and FFG 7 Class planning yard services. Bath Iron Works will provide engineering and design services and logistics support for maintenance, modernization and repair of DDG 51 and FFG 7 Class ships. Work will be performed in Bath, Maine, and is expected to be completed by September 2004.
