Another strong explosion jolts West of Kabul
IRNA
Kabul, Sept 13, IRNA -- After 3 rocket attacks against ISAF headquarters Thursday night, another strong explosion jolted West side of the Afghan capital at 15:15 local time, on Friday evening. The official government sources said that the Friday incidence was due to the explosion of a live tank missile that had been there for a long time. A Kabul security official, too, told IRNA that the explosion was due to the detonation of munitions that had been left in the region from an unidentified time in the past. The official who spoke on condition of anonymity added, "two children were busy playing with fire at the explosion site prior to the incidence, and their activities might have led to the explosion." The incidence had no casualties according to the said source. NA/211 End
