Conference on NPT to be held in Moscow

Moscow, Sept 3, IRNA -- A Conference on Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT will be held in Moscow from September 18-20. Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations and the Moscow-based representatives and experts from 36 countries are expected to attend the conference. Iran, Russia, United States, North Korea, China, Britain, Germany, France, Pakistan and India will deliver lectures to the Conference. Topics ranging from nuclear energy, measures to prevent access to weapons of mass destruction by the international terrorists and coordination for promoting the NPT will be discussed in the two-day conference. Russian Minister of Atomic Energy Alexander Rumyantsev will inaugurate the conference. 215/212 End
