USS Cushing visits Kure

KURE, Japan -- The Spruance-class destroyer USS Cushing (DD 985), arrived in Kure, Japan, June 24.
While in port, the ship's approximately 380 crewmembers will have a chance to participate in friendship and goodwill activities such as community service projects.
Cushing is permanently forward deployed to Yokosuka, Japan, and is commanded by Cmdr. Peter K. Dallman.
