BAE SYSTEMS Welcomes MOD Approval For Type 45 Destroyer And Astute Build Strategies

BAE Systems has been informed that the Company's decision to move the Type 45 Destroyer programme to the shipyards on the Clyde has been approved by the Ministry of Defence. The Clyde yards will now assemble and launch all six ships with the Barrow yard focusing on the Submarines business and delivery of the Astute class into service.
