- Northrop Grumman's X-47A Pegasus First Flight Achieves Milestone in Autonomous Control Northrop Grumman 23 Feb 2003 -- Northrop Grumman Corporation's (NYSE:NOC) Integrated Systems sector achieved a significant milestone in autonomously controlled flight today with the successful first flight of its Pegasus experimental unmanned air vehicle (UAV). The flight took place at NAVAIR Weapons Division, China Lake, Calif.

- ISRAEL-PALESTINIANS VOA 23 Feb 2003 -- Israeli troops today (Sunday) raided a Palestinian town in the Gaza Strip, killing at least one person. The raid is in response to continued rocket fire by Palestinian militants into Israel.
- ISRAEL/PALESTINIANS VOA 23 Feb 2003 -- At least seven Palestinians and one Israeli soldier have been killed, as violence spread across the Gaza Strip.
- IVORY COAST VOA 23 Feb 2003 -- Political leaders in Ivory Coast are discussing possible rebel participation in the government under terms of a French-mediated peace accord. Meanwhile, a rebel leader has threatened to resume fighting, if the agreement is not fully implemented.
- SRILANKA/PRIME MINISTER VOA 23 Feb 2003 -- Sri Lanka's prime minister Ranil Wickremesinghe says Tamil Tiger rebels should be allowed to join the state police, military and judiciary as part of a final political settlement to the island's ethnic conflict. The Sri Lankan leader says his government is determined to continue with the peace process, which began a year ago.
