Bush Congratulates Sharon on Re-Election
(Reaffirms U.S. Commitment to Israel's Security) (160) President Bush offered his congratulations to Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon on his re-election, and said the U.S. commitment to Israel's security remains firm, according to a statement issued by the White House January 29. "I look forward to continuing to work with Prime Minister Sharon and his new government in the search for peace and security for all Israelis and all Palestinians," Bush added.
